Wax, stage name of Matteo Lucido, is a Milan-based singer-songwriter born in 2002. He grew up between violin and songwriting, turning everyday experiences into direct and vivid songs. His writing blends pop with an urban attitude, with a strong narrative component: “I’m inspired by what happens around me… imagination is the only superpower we have.”

In 2022, he joined the talent show Amici, where he gained widespread public recognition. In 2023, he released “Anni 70” (produced by Merk & Kremont) and his self-titled EP, followed by “Colori” and “After.” In 2024, he continued his artistic evolution with “Primo al mondo,” followed by “7 Vite” and the EP “Exit.” In 2025–2026, he carried on with new releases, and his latest single, “Nessuno qui è chi dovrebbe essere,” achieved strong results, entering the Spotify Italy Top 200.
